Death of a printer

Death of a printer, version 1

It was a dark and stormy night. I needed to write a story for the writers group and I was pounding out my latest opus. It was time to print and flash bang the lighting filled the sky and nothing came out of the printer.

Ok it was a hot Monday afternoon, but you get the picture.

Death of a printer

It was a dark and stormy night. I needed to write a story for the writers group and I was pounding out my latest opus. It was time to print and flash bang the lighting filled the sky and nothing came out of the printer.

As I looked at the “Death of a printer” I was felling sad. I couldn’t get the unit to cooperated so I could write to family and friends. It has been quite a while. But I got an idea. I would give it another chance.

So I started to write a comment of status in machine. Hurrayyyyy. Look above. It did work. So now I’ll try starting contact with my family and friends.

I feel good that I now have a chance to communicate with my family. One or two of my family looked at the computer. It took several months of waiting. I feel someone in my family made the necessary changes in the operations for me and surprised me. What-ever it was let me used the machine.

I have just returned. I was very excited the unit was working. But, MUSIC got in the way. I was afraid to shut down the unit and see what was going to happen. I can touch the machine and disaster. Time to be careful. I am a patient at “Dominican Oaks”. This is an Assisted Living facility. Lot of personal care. Lots help and guidance. Further details available on request. As to the getting in the way. Groups of retired people, retired people on, or short on cash. They come and play music and sing. We pay for a few hours for them. They have some musical skill. Ok, most have a lot of skill.

My next challenge is getting an address to send a letter.

I wish my self-lucky. If you hear from me, we are both lucky. So, let’s see what happens.

GOOD LUCK and GOOD HEALTH. Joe Zott, Sr.
